I’m not sure if you checked the injury report but there are some key players out, which make me wonder is this the Lions only path to victory? We beat the Packers with the power of our rushing ofense and a active defense. However, every game in the NFL is its’ our little unique universe, so it’s asfe to assume that this game can be signiicantly different than last week. Will the Lions display that they can beat teams in this way purely…if they’re force to? Take a look…

IS THIS THE LIONS ONLY PATH TO VICTORY OVER CAROLINA?

“He looks fast — explosive,” Amon-Ra St. Brown said. “I mean, his speed is something that stands out right away. You’ve got to respect it.”

That’s what the Lions are banking on this week, even if Williams isn’t quite ready for an every-down role in his season debut on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers…

“Corners and safeties, if you can’t run 4.2, you better start backing up,” St. Brown said. “Because he can run 4.2. I think that just itself opens up stuff for us underneath, because you have to respect his speed. At the end of the day, you can do all types of things with him. So having him on our team back, it feels great. We’re excited. I know the coaches are, too.”

Williams has continued to put footballs on the ground during practice this week, including another against air during the brief window that was open to reporters on Friday. But the speed has continued to dazzle, and Detroit hopes that can effect the Carolina defense.

So if the OLine is having a bad day at the office, and the Defense isn’t getting of the field, is this the Lions only path to victory? Will Jameson Williams speed element make the diference in this and other games where he/it just breaks the opponents will to compete for 60 minutes or more? We think it can because when teams have to back up their DBs, or shift the safeties over to his side of the field…Jahmyr Gibbs speed and the TE Sam Laporta can dominate on the other side!

What are you thoughts about the Lions HAVING TO win this way?

Is it sustainable and for how many games? Let us know below…

I've been a Detroit Lions fan as far back as I can remeber as a child. I've always wanted them to win, and be successful. So, I've felt the gut punch of year after year of SOL. But I'm in it to win it, so that's why I'm all about my LionsPassion!
